Lamime Yamal's Grandmother Concerned for Life After His Father's Assault

Lamine Yamal’s father is recovering after a terrifying assault in the streets of Nottingham. Following the attack, Yamal’s grandmother Evelyn spoke to Nottinghamshire live about her fears, saying, “If they want to end me, I’m here.”
Investigation Ongoing
The police investigation into the attack is still ongoing, but Nottinghamshire police are treating it as an isolated incident. They believe the suspect is known to Lamine’s father personally.
Father Stable But Traumatized
The victim has been identified as 45-year-old Souleymane Yamal who was stabbed multiple times in Forest Fields. He is currently recovering in the hospital, but his injuries are not considered life-threatening.
Community Concerned, Demands Justice
The incident has left the community in shock and locals are demanding justice for the victim. A protest has been organized for later this month to bring awareness to knife crime.
