Sounder Trains Available for Apple Cup and Mariners vs. Texas Rangers This Weekend

Football Fans Expected To Fill Trains For Apple Cup

Football fans will be able to take Sounder trains to and from the Apple Cup this weekend.

The Sounder train will make a special stop at the Tukwila station for fans to disembark and will provide extra service to accommodate the large number of football fans expected to attend.

The Apple Cup is an annual football game between the University of Washington Huskies and Washington State University Cougars.

Baseball Fans Can Also Take Sounder Trains to Mariners Games

In addition to the Apple Cup, Sounder trains will also be available for fans attending the Mariners vs. Texas Rangers baseball game this weekend.

The Mariners are hosting the Rangers for a three-game series at T-Mobile Park.

Fans can take the Sounder train to the King Street Station and then transfer to the Link light rail to get to T-Mobile Park.

Sounder Train Schedules

The following is a schedule of Sounder train service for the Apple Cup and Mariners games this weekend:

• Apple Cup
• Northbound trains will depart from Tacoma at 10:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., and 2:30 p.m.
• Southbound trains will depart from Seattle at 5:30 p.m., 7:30 p.m., and 9:30 p.m.
• Mariners games
• Northbound trains will depart from Tacoma at 3:00 p.m., 5:00 p.m., and 7:00 p.m.
• Southbound trains will depart from Seattle at 10:00 p.m., 11:30 p.m., and 1:00 a.m.

Tickets for the Apple Cup and Mariners games can be purchased online or at the stadium.
